Super interesting to see how the old subjective VC signals are getting blown out of the water now real data is being implemented across across the startup stack. Facts and stats win over gut feeling and hearsay This is only going one way … like stockbrokers getting booted

VC is already getting so compressed … founders doing more for less in shorter cycles means more objective data points. This invites a different breed of investors and capital. Series A data today looks like Series C two years ago.

Over 75% of the worlds population is already in 2026 — and so far it’s calm, peaceful, and oddly relaxed. No drama. No polarising takes. Just decent vibes. Happy New Year to the rest of you. Don’t fuck this good karma up.

I can’t shake this feeling that entrepreneurship is a paradox right now. It’s never been easier to start a business if you have agency and curiosity. But it’s never been harder to build something that actually lasts, because the moats we relied on are evaporating in an AI world.

Geoffrey Hinton says that in 2026, AI will gain the capability to replace many jobs Every 7 months, AI doubles the length of tasks it can handle. It went from 1-minute coding to hour-long projects Soon, it'll manage month-long software engineering tasks "then few people will

Mega AI rounds aren’t funding innovation. They’re funding positioning in the supply chain.

Biggest change for 2026 will be AI Agency & Execution Layers This is the core shift. Everything else is downstream.

The hardest part of scaling AI is owned in Europe.... Good luck scaling AI and trying to break up Europe at the same time.

If you believe your values are universal, your rules should bind everyone, your opponents’ sovereignty is negotiable, and you’re entitled to coerce compliance—financially, politically, or militarily—you’re a …….,,,,,,?
If you believe free speech is for you but not your political opponents, you're illiberal. If no contrary evidence could change your beliefs, you're a fundamentalist. If you believe the state should punish those with contrary views, you're a totalitarian. If you believe

I still miss opportunities. Everyone does. But I’m better now at spotting when my brain is lying to me. That Soho House lunch still gives me indigestion.... 🤢
