I always enjoy talking to the MiniPolice at Derbyshire Primary Schools. A really successful project which is changing attitudes and culture. Holme Hall Primary School was no exception - a lively interested group who listened carefully and asked lots of intelligent questions.

The Invisible Friends Charity is doing a wonderful job of raising the awarenesses of invisible illnesses. Abbie Tabberer suffers from an invisible illness herself but she is using her gift as a way to raise awareness. Abbie really deserved her High Sheriff Award

All of us have seen Derbyshire Blood Bikes on our travels. Their motorbikes are a familiar sight on our roads. What you might not know is that it is a free medical courier service for the NHS across Derbyshire and it is staffed entirely by volunteers. Mike Grimmett, is the Chair
