Somehow according to my medical chart I’m not allowed paracetamol today, but I am allowed morphine. Seems a bit all-or-nothing. I’ve only got mild stomachs cramps. 🤷♂️

Woke up in the middle of the night in our holiday cottage and still half dreaming I whispered to Amy: “We’re not alone in the house. There’s someone in the living room. He’s a defender. His name is Gary Brimstone.” … so that wasn’t creepy at all.

The heatwave has really done a number on our chocolate stash. To be fair, Christmas and Easter chocolate shouldn’t still be hanging around in July. At least now there’s a good reason to bin it.

That’s it! The heatwave has officially peaked here in Leamington at 38C 🥵 . Temp starting to drop now, should be 10 degrees cooler by 8pm and a full 20 degrees by 4am. Hoping for a decent night’s sleep! 😴

Everything Everywhere All At Once was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great movie, 2 hours of joyous craziness. Hard to describe, but imagine a kung-fu action movie crossed with The Mighty Boosh or Monty Python.
