The Russian Central Bank raised the USD exchange rate by 0,13 rubles from 78,19 rubles to 78,31 rubles per USD and the euro exchange rate by 0,11 rubles from 90,97 rubles to 91,08 rubles per euro.

The Russian government has developed a program that will provide 4 billion rubles in preferential lending to SMEs in monoindustry towns in Russia to diversify their economy. By 2030 18,3 billion rubles will be provided under this program.

RusHydro says that the construction of the Zagorskaya-2 power plant will be finished in 2028. It has been postponed several times after in 2013 the soil under the foundation of the power plant sank and the site was flooded.

The Russian MinFin provide coal companies with a deferment on taxes and insurance premiums for workers until November 30th 2025.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grushko expects that Russian trade turnover with the EU may fall to 0. It used to be 417 billion USD in 2021 and it was around 60 billion USD in 2024 and is expected to be 40 billion USD in 2025.

Russian Banks' net profit for June 2025 was 392 billion rubles which is 1/3 higher than in May 2025.

Russia's largest producer of microelectronics Element is investing 4,4 billion rubles in the in the production of gallium nitride transistors. The project will be implemented at the company's site in Voronezh.

In Russia for the period June 2024 to May 2025 the sales of cheap instant coffee dropped by 4,9%. The drop is due to more interest in higher grade coffee among the public.

This year during the summer period Russian airline tickets haven't jumped up in price like last year as there's more foreign airlines on the market for international trips whilst Russian demand for flights has remained stagnant.

Russian groceries retailer Vkusville bought part of the IT company Avtomakon for 2,5 billion rubles. Avtomakon has been developing the software and providing the IT support of Vkusville for the last 10 years.

In H1 2025 2,73 million used cars were sold in Russia which is 0,5% lower than in H1 2024. It is expected that for 2025 used car sales to fall by 3% to 5,86 million in the baselines projection and by 7% in the pessimistic scenario to 5,62 million.

In H1 2025 Chinese mobile game developers spent more on advertising on RuStore than for all of 2024. The increase compared to H1 2024 is 150%.

One of Sovkombank's shareholders posted an ad on Avito saying that he's selling his 5% share in the company for 17 billion rubles.

The average cost of overseas tourist trips available for Russian in H1 2025 were 17% more expensive than in H1 2024 and cost 156 000 rubles.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Novak proposed increasing the share of gasoline produced by refineries that should be sold on the exchanges be increased from 15% to 17%. This is in connection to the high wholesale prices currently.

Russian Duma deputies are warning Whatsapp that it should prepare to be kicked out of Russia. Whatsup is the most popular messenger in Russia with 84,4 million users.

Severstal invested in reequiping its Cherepovets Metallurgical Plant with news machinery for 7,5 billion rubles over the last 2 years. It expects this investment to be paid off in 3-9 years and it will offer 2% savings per ton of steel produced.

The Moscow Arbitarion court didn't rule in favor of the Russian company Adorabella which wanted the Russian subsidiary of UBS to pay for its seized assets in Switzerland by UBS as while the court said UBS is guilty the Russian subsidiary wasn't to blame.

Euroclear's revenue from frozen Russian assets in H1 2025 was 21% lower than in H1 2024 coming in at 2,7 billion euros.

For H1 2025 T-bank recorded a net profit of 12,8 billion rubles. This is significantly lower than H1 2024's 28,87 billion rubles. Both figures are using the Russian accounting standards.
