Wow. This is a fascinating study. In it, the authors found that recessions INCREASE life expectancy. Why? Because reduced economic activity reduces air pollution. FWIW, these are not degrowthers but they do conclude: GDP is a bad proxy for welfare. https://t.co/YTleeln9gl
