exhaling a breath whilst getting comfortable, jemma placed a kiss to the side of his arm before lying down properly to attempt some form of sleep.
he’s already there, scrolling away on his ipad with glasses on, a nearby pen and paper on which he’s scribbling occasional notes. he put the monkey to bed a couple hours ago, and he’s just been chipping away.

sounds like a wonderful idea, fitz! she did enjoy it — calm and peaceful is just what they all needed after a busy few months. she’s very lucky.
He did. It was. . . a long conversation. Need to go visit her in a few weeks. Hoping Jemma enjoyed the day together with him and the wee monkey, though. Nothing terribly manic, which was sort of the idea.
