LAFC is bringing in 29-year-old Brazilian defensive midfielder Jailson. He played last two years in La Liga for Celta Vigo. Before that, he had nearly 50 appearances for Palmeiras from 2022-23.

Unfortunately, Maxime Chanot’s head injury has forced him to retire. Maxime was an absolute ROCK on the back line, and, when healthy, was easily one of the best defenders in #LAFC history. We are incredibly grateful for all his contributions in a Black and Gold shirt.
