Now emails have the ‘schedule send’ function, can we make it normal practice when we notice someone has an OOO on to schedule emails to send on their return date? It doesn’t reduce the No of emails we return to, but is SO MUCH better for those of us who email-peek during leave
On leave. I could avoid emails, as everyone says I should do. But if I don't - I will come back to thousands - and it would take me a fortnight to clear it. So I check emails even on holiday. The sad reality we have built for ourselves. No real escape.

Here's a question for all the nursing students out there - can you refuse to go on an allocated clinical placement? Are there any rules around this? Are you allowed to request a different placement? I'm looking into this for @NurseStandard and would love to hear your views.
