Well! What a brilliant day at @uniofleicester - saw lots of cool stuff, beautifully curated for us, obvs, but also just really great clarity of purpose and sense of collective endeavour around doing stuff that has meaning both inside and outside the university.

New insight also out today from @officestudents evaluating the mental health funding competition over last 3 years - my reading is it adds fuel to argument that doing this work well, at scale, impactfully is a reach esp when students have limited time/resource to engage.

I was anxious writing this because I worried it might get read like “Wonkhe hates mental health” (not the case!) I’m just mindful it’s hard for people working in this space to open up this conversation about what’s reasonable, appropriate, effective to deliver.
NEW on Wonkhe: The mental health challenge is real - but universities are at risk of being pushed to deliver mental health support beyond their educative mission, argues Debbie McVitty @debbie_mcvitty
