Before coding a single line, we always sketch things out the classic way - pen and paper. It's funny now to recall Dr Samuels' discarded morgue stage, or the balcony that Lady Winterbourne never got. But in the end, the best ideas are the ones that survive. I hope!

- Had a croissant + espresso for breakfast.- Bought an amazing baguette.- Watched Godard's "Pierrot le Fou" .- Worked on our game for 3 hours.- Read Thomas Bernhard's "Wittgenstein's nephew" while listening to Oscar Peterson. What a day! And I still have time for a horror movie!

The "problem" with our pixel art is that it's too dark and too detailed, so it's easy to scroll by if you're on your phone and looking for big, eye-catching, colourful shapes. But stop for a second and zoom in, and you'll gasp at the insane amount of work Thomas has put in here.

The point-and-click-horror-adventure-to-metroidvania pipeline. Are there any other examples of studios doing this? (And especially, doing it as amazingly well as these two!)

And yes, it counts as gamedev if I bring my crappy 2,50€ notebook along AND I write stuff for House Ocampo in it 😛
