I was humbled to be presented with the prestigious King Charles III Coronation Medal by Ontario's Deputy Premier and Minister of Health, @SylviaJonesMPP, for my health care advocacy and community work. Congratulations to 11 other recipients in Dufferin-Caledon for their service.

Thank you to the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors for inviting me to speak at their Ontario conference. I shared my patient journey as a transplant recipient plus recommendations from @immunocompCA to better protect immunocompromised populations.

Today, I celebrate my 5-year lungaversary 🫁 and reflect on the miracle of life. I am forever grateful to my donor and his family, the medical team at @UHNTransplant and my caregiver, Janet Clark, for their ability to successfully support me through surgery and recovery.

I am honoured to serve my local community as a board member at Headwaters Health Care Centre.

A great week in Italy at the World Transplant Winter Games to celebrate the gift of life and to make friendships with transplant recipients. We excelled in alpine skiing events in medal play. I look forward to returning to this event in Switzerland to capture a medal in curling.
