Saw this on Facebook.. Honestly, the feeling of walking up the ramp and looking out at Big Shea, I was always star struck. From a young boy in 1974 all the way to 2008. Every time, I was always in awe. Great picture.. Loved Shea Stadium ❤️ 📷 Marty Walsh.

The Mets have Lindor, Alonso, McNeil, Nimmo. That’s a pretty good core. Senga & Quintana, both solid. Diaz, best closer in Baseball. We will add more, we offered Yamamoto 320 million. Stearns is only 3 months into the job. The Mets aren’t punting. WTF? 🤦🏻♂️The Mets will be ok.

Here’s a throwback, lol. I’m guessing I was 5yrs old here. Maybe 1974/1975? Before heading over to Shea Stadium for a Mets game. As a kid, I would wear a Mets uniform to games. My dad was the best. Always took me to Shea. Been with this team for as long as I remember.

Very sorry to hear Jerry Grote passed away today. Sad day for the New York Mets & Baseball. A key player for the 1969 World Series Champion Amazin’ Mets & 1973 National League Champion Mets teams. Handled a great, young pitching staff & played the game right. RIP Jerry.

Yamamoto is free to sign wherever he wants. He does, it’s a huge decision and wherever he signs I wish him well. I hope it’s with the Mets, but if he’s hesitant to come here for whatever reasons, then we don’t need him. I want players who want to be a New York Met. His choice 🤷🏻♂️

I made it a point to approach every Police Officer I saw Friday at Citi Field & offer condolences to their fallen brother Officer Diller & thank them for their service. They need our support. Sadly I lost 2 good Jersey City, NJ friends who were cops killed in the line of duty. 💙

Missing an old friend tonight. Rusty, we were inseparable for 13 years. We were a great duo, best dog ever. Sadly he passed away in August of 2017. He was 13 years old. Honestly, I still think of him every day. He loved the Christmas tree. Merry Christmas Pal, I love you buddy.❤️
