I’m happy to share that @elycecole and I have founded a not-for-profit called Hard Problems to help tech people to find meaningful work on the hardest problems facing the world — challenges like public health, climate change, and good government.

I'm loving using "DO-ITS" notes by.@cameronmoll. They're simple, Post-It notes that you fill out each morning to focus on your key daily tasks. Very effective.

One of our engineers wrote a thoughtful article about how public health challenges can be framed using "Systems Thinking" @AtharvaRaykar

A technologists’ skill set of crafting scalable solutions works well on notoriously hard problems like public health. The way to make it approachable is to adopt ‘systems thinking’.

Good advice to start the year. Obviously it's easy to say "don't care what others think" but it's worth pushing through to get your early and imperfect work into the wild.
in 2025 i’d encourage young designers to. - share more unfiltered work, publicly, consistently.- don’t care what others think.- build that idea of yours that you’ve already designed. it’s easier than you think.
