May is #StrokeAwarenessMonth. Remember F.A.S.T for the signs of a stroke. Face – has their face fallen on one side? Can they smile? Arms – can they raise both arms and keep them there? Speech – is it slurred? Time – it’s time to call 999 https://t.co/oduKzNVBqX

He's using our name and office to promote his services. This is without our permission, against our wishes, and totally misrepresents the scope and quality of his work. I'd encourage anyone commissioning this type of work to be careful and speak directly to past clients.

Spaces Taylored is a one-man band, who's supported by casual work from family members and subcontractors. I found him aggressive, dishonest, and unprofessional. His behaviour caused staff to feel threatened, damage to our property, and significant additional costs to our company

Disgraceful to delay this again. This was first announced in 2019. For context, we’ve had two new Prime Ministers since then! Totally illogical in a city that recognises the air quality crisis and climate emergency. https://t.co/k3SA4mYHjt

Last Sunday was the ten-year anniversary of a landmark statement in public health. It confirmed a problem that was responsible for an estimated 190,000 premature deaths worldwide in 2015 and cost EU...

There is still a long way to go to get these bans approved. It requires a strong, positive, and well-resourced campaign for clean air. The silent passing of the anniversary of IARC's reclassification of diesel suggests that this movement does not currently exist.

Just last week, the European Parliament faced massive opposition to a ban on new petrol and diesel cars from 2035. Politicians and industry lobbyists called for weaker regulations and no fixed phase out date for fossil fueled vehicles. https://t.co/DYmkGHut1f

In a dramatic verdict, EU lawmakers voted in favor of banning the sale of petrol vehicles by 2035 and rejected a bid to update the EU’s Emissions Trading System after conservative parties tried to...

Many countries plan to ban sales of new petrol and diesel cars from 2030 and 2035. As diesel engines have an average life of 14 years, this means exposure to these toxic emissions will extend well past the year 2040 and even beyond 2050.

2022: the world has known that diesel emissions cause cancer for 10 years and that this was probably true for over 24 years. Yet the overwhelming majority of vehicles on Europe's roads are diesel-fueled.

2021: WHO publish new air quality guidelines to update previous (2005) guidelines with latest scientific evidence . EU also sets new standards but based on 2005 guidelines. This makes legal limits in Europe up to 5 times higher than the safe levels recommend by WHO.

2017: European governments revoke subsidies for diesel. Consumers also become concerned about falling resale (down by 5% in UK, and up to 17% in Germany). 2019: sales of new diesel cars fall to 32% of new car sales in the EU

2015: US EPA accuses VW of installing illegal devices to manipulate emissions tests. The media rages about lying car makers, but ignores health consequences of toxic emissions. 2016: only a slight fall in diesel sales to 49% of 15 million new cars in Europe.

2012: IARC reclassifies diesel as a ‘definite’ cause of cancer. This receives limited media coverage. Diesel cars account for 55% of all new registrations in Europe in 2012. This only decreases by 2% in 2013 and is unchanged in 2014.

Governments across Europe introduce major tax breaks for diesel vehicles, reported to be worth €21 billion a year. Until late 1990s, diesel had been a niche market in Western Europe at about 15% of new car sales. Sales pass 50% by 2005 and peak at 55% in 2011.
