I need to check in with the plane and how it is doing at all times. This involves looking out the window to confirm we are flying correctly. If we are nose-diving, my window seat can confirm this so I can go to the cockpit myself and talk to the pilot.

Right, and the only treatment for an ectopic is an abortifacient or surgical removal. So it’s like…what? And you know they don’t understand. We don’t see certain presentations anymore because we DO treat before it gets bad. Sigh. This is just bad. Very, very bad.

This is amazing. Holy cow. Perimortem C-section is like the holy grail of OB/GYN medical emergencies. I always was interested to learn that it’s done primarily for maternal resuscitation to increase venous return (among other stuff obviously).

The main reason a doctor is late (99% of the time) is because they are respectfully and dutifully answering questions of and spending time with patients. Not defending anyone but it boggles my mind this isn’t understood on some level. That and EMR, heh. Takes time.

That’s laughable. After bombing my chemistry undergrad, I couldn’t believe the amount of humanities grads who got in, and weren’t overwhelmed. Also after doing med school, I realized how a science major, even a pre-med curriculum in general, is so unnecessary to do well.
