1. Karon Blake was trying to break into vehicles 2. After getting caught, he tries to fight the homeowner 3. Homeowner (who is also black) then shoots him 4. Karon Blake wasn't some innocent kid the media is gonna make him out to be 5. This should be a non-story lol

The man who killed 13-year-old #KaronBlake is a DC government employee, says the mayor. He shot Blake, claiming without evidence Blake was "tampering" with cars in his neighborhood. 5 days after the killing, police have not named the suspect, filed charges or made an arrest.

@dawest76 Except there's no evidence he ever broke into ANY car at all.. because he never did, and that's per police whom I trust over you.

@vegasrobert From every article I've read, the homeowner heard a loud noise outside and when he went to investigate he saw the kid messing with multiple vehicles as if to break into them. When confronted an altercation ensued and that's when the homeowner shot him

@dawest76 He was in a group of three young men. If they behaved aggressively when confronted then the homeowner might have reasonably feared for his life and safety. Even more so if the young car thieves had burglary tools that appeared to be weapons or could be used as weapons. (1/2)
