I was very grateful to share the session with old and new friends @gggodhwani, @NadineFernz, @winfriedveil, and @vavoida. Special thanks to @KASonline and @PKuzev for the invitation!.

However, the GDB also identified areas for improvement in the open data policy, the data management frameworks, the training for civil servants, and key datasets, such as company register, beneficial ownership, public procurement, lobbying data, and land tenure.

In Germany, a top performing country, the GDB found strong frameworks for data protection and accessibility, robust data capabilities at sub-national governments, an active open data initiative, and valuable datasets like land use, healthcare, public budget, and vital statistics.

Here are some highlights from my recent attendance at the #EUdataSummit, where I presented a keynote on #OpenData and #DataFoundations based on the #GlobalDataBarometer. Our aim was to contribute to the conversation on how data can drive positive change.
