Air Canada wanted the jobs minister to order it and CUPE to binding arbitration, which Air Canada has previously proposed and the union has rejected. This is Hajdu saying no (or, at least, not yet).
Please see my statement on the ongoing negotiations between CUPE Flight Attendants at Air Canada and Air Canada:.//.Voici ma déclaration sur les négociations en cours entre les agents de bord du SCFP d’Air Canada et Air Canada :

Putting the relationship with Epstein aside (which requires several of those huge oilsands trucks) this is a weird letter. It’s kind of mean, for a birthday present. But trivial. And sloppily done. Like if Edward Hopper drew you a McDonald’s logo with a leaky pen.
The fact that Woody Allen not only wrote this supremely creepy sketch but then gifted it to Jeffrey Epstein in 2016 is truly disturbing

When they saw the dollar figures in the high-speed rail bid from Cadence, the consortium that includes CDPQ, AtkinsRéalis and Air Canada, the federal team looking at the options spit out their coffees. "Are they sure they can do it that cheap? Really?".

This morning, Mark Carney committed Canada to spending 3.5 per cent of our GDP on the military by 2035. As it happens, DND has a to-do list in the billions of dollars as its buildings, gear and readiness fail in the face of climate change:

Climate change will damage buildings, degrade equipment and even limit how far planes can fly, warns Defence Department memo.

This embarrassment is on my regular route to work. It's only gotten worse over the months. The fact it's on the border between wards might not help it get attention.
These photos were taken nearly 6 months apart. This is Bank Street between Centretown and The Glebe. You'd think with all the money this area brings in to the city, they could get around to fixing the sidewalks one day. Guess all that money goes somewhere else.
