Barnaby Joyce racked up $675,000 in expenses in 3 weeks as drought envoy. He says he sent texts to PM Scott Morrison who blocks FOI requests & refuses to hand over phone records. Retweet if you want to see the texts or a police investigation or both? They simply can't be trusted!

Morrison is so full of it about declaring national emergency. Here is the section of his own Act that allows him to ask the GG to declare one. It is entirely his decision. Doesn’t even have to consult. His attempts to blame Qld are just more excuses for his own failure.

Uhuh. @ChrisReason7 asks the right questions. Gladys gives the wrong answers. Her decision to cut and run is pathetic, an abdication of leadership.

It boggles my mind that #cdnchildcare could be left out of #elxn44 debate given it's central to wellbeing of children, economic recovery and growth, household economic security and gender equity. Oh, right...that must be why? Let's see which leaders raise the issue regardless

So @abc730 we fell over ourselves to buy 100 unproven F35 aircraft against a theoretical threat (& probably another $100B on dud subs) but quibbled on buying mRNA vaccines (for a fraction of these sums) against a known & present mortal danger. Funny idea of national security.

So there you have it folks!Morrison and Hunt dropped the ball last June securing a big early supply of Pfizer. It was Pfizer who approached Hunt. Not the other way round. And Hunt was just too busy to do the deal. For all of us. And now they blame the states!
