'Pelangi' is finally out in the world! I've made some music in my time, but nothing has ever incubated for over a decade like this record. It's one that I am really proud of, and most captures the ethos of the time period it was created.

I hope if you have the time to dip in, you'll take a listen to this surprising little collection of songs. It's now available to stream and getting it out to you after 12 years is a little weight off my shoulders.

There's a really wild remix at the end as well, of an earlier song called "Dirty Words," which references the shitty car wreck me and my bandmates went through in 2006. My friend @TimChristol made that.

Ultimately, however, music can be personal but it's meant for sharing. "Fools Gold" has always been a favorite of mine, and "Dancing Around the Fire" is interesting because it's about destruction to the environment and well ... 12 years later not a lot has changed.

But I often will go back and re-listen to the music I've created once I have a little distance, and I actually really enjoy what I put down here. It definitely feels like a vague "Rock-tronica" phase I went through, which makes it feel a little schizophrenic.

At the time I was in way too much need of approval, and this thing went through so many growing pains and revisions. I think that's why I came away from it feeling exhausted and off my bearing.
