@davidfholt @cityofokc Curious question, will area high schools be able to use this new stadium or will they be denied like the State Fair is denying high schools from using their new stadium for graduations? If so, I definitely will not be voting for any new MAPS projects or sales tax extensions.

@bartsims @cityofokc You’re free to vote how you like, but the OG&E Coliseum is certainly available for graduations. In fact, I just checked with the Fairgrounds, and they have offered dates in that facility this coming May to several local school districts.

@TheGhostofAbel The Bricktown Ballpark was built in the period when brick was very trendy in new ballparks. Not sure the thinking on the Ford Center. Can’t think of any other brick MAPS projects. As for moving forward, I’m a layperson, but that doesn’t strike me as a material that seems to be

@davidfholt In before the “BUT WHAT ABOUT THE SCHOOLS!?!?” comments from people who don’t know what MAPS is 😂. This turned out way cooler than I expected it to. Will look good as a back drop for the Olympic events down the street.

@davidfholt I’d hoped for something a little bigger, but as someone who is hoping to have some involvement with the club on an official level & just a fan of the game in general, this is BEYOND exciting 🥹 Energy FC never felt like we had a LEGIT club. I’m so excited for the future now 🙌🏾

@davidfholt With the exciting and transformational development in the city core (much needed), I believe three areas are critical to creating mass and urbanism in DT OKC the PAYCOM center (once demolished), the long vacant lots across from the park and he so called strawberry fields area
