If we stopped to ask if the new HV lines are necessary. We currently transmit energy, surely we can have smaller distributed generation on the existing network. @renew_economy NSW hopes to bury transmission problem with inquiry into lines underground
reneweconomy.com.au
New South Wales Labor commissions inquiry and report into feasibility – and in particular, the cost – of undergrounding the state's critical transmission infrastructure.

The headline is contradicted by the content. Tragic that the Conversation and ABC run to a BS headline over journalism. The RBA has one lever to pull in response to government policy and public behaviour. Blaming RBA and Lowe particularly is deception.

It an unfortunate state of affairs when a business model can laud itself as vital and important when it is fact preying on vulnerable people and sustaining criminal enterprise.

Why is this on the Reserve bank it has one lever, interest rates! Fed Govt has more levers. The Reserve Bank is playing a game of chicken with inflation. But how far is it prepared to….

The Reserve Bank has engaged in the second-most aggressive monetary tightening cycle in its history to combat inflation. But its goal seems to be moving further away, writes David Taylor.

The terrifying thing is how shallow and short term the thinking of the current crop of policy makers. The failure to address meaningfully any of this and even bigger issues. Australia’s runaway farmland prices are terrifying, at least to this farmer

The experts play down the problem based on deeply flawed notions of long-term agricultural profitability. That’s a big problem

Chris Bowen has demolished Morrison's filthy scapegoating of ICAC and taken a blowtorch to talk of Berijiklian running in Warringah 🔥🔥🔥 Punishing corruption vs rewarding it. That's the choice this election #auspol #icac #federalicac

The finding come as no surprise to me, I am more concerned about the deliberate will of some to dismiss the criminal behaviour. It is as though the evidence and disclosures of harassment are not cause for reflection and change. Thanks @Kate_Jenkins_ it time for Fed ICAC.

The irony is not lost when you have senior LNP members saying they could not do the job with Fed. ICAC, another commitment broken by ‘public servants’ not committed to public service.

The PM is looking increasingly desperate as he stacks lies on lies. It is embarrassing to watch this bloke drag Australia’s reputation down in drain hole spin. History will not be kind to this period of time, ‘he came, he went, and left a mess’ #LiarFromTheShire
