What a match!! DCC victorious against @OakmereCC . With Abid, Jones and Jackson all taking wickets, DCC held Oakmere to 140. But with R Johnson scoring 35 and M Jamieson scoring 26, with just 5 balls left the team finished the match winners. Well done everyone ππ»ππ»ππ

It is with regret that we inform you that Brian Gandy has sadly passed away. Brian lived on Mount Pleasant and his house backed on to the club. He was a club stalwart as a player and looked after the ground with Brian Hinde for many seasons. Our thoughts are with his family.

Our O40βs were in action on Wednesday night and secured a fabulous win against Sale Cricket Club Silverbacks. Phil Sharples retired at 30, with the 2 Markβs following closely with 26 and 27. Whilst Steve, Andy and Jimmy all took wickets. Well done team π

Our U16βs battled hard against Barrow CC. Evan batted a solid 33 off 29 balls with 4 boundaries, then bowled 3 overs, conceded 8 runs and took a wicket. Stan and Louis both made double figures with their batting. Max and Flynn both took multiple wickets. Well done everyone ππ»π

The U11s started their Cheshire County League campaign on Tuesday. They secured a fabulous win away at Chester Boughton Hall, Dcc made 291 and CBH made 256 in reply. #2023season #juniorcricket #welldoneteam
