It was a great honour to participate in the international charity CTO Live Aid event with TPCH cathlab team. Post-CABG calcified RCA CTO treated with rotacut and DCB with good result for the patient.

Proctoring is always learning new!.Malaysia teaches me DCBs in de novo lesions - 15 years of experience. 50% of all PCI in Malaysia is now with DCBs. Imaging, lesion preparation 1:1 is a must. I’m converted. This week at TPCH 14 stents, 10 DCBs. More evidence for metal-free PCI.

Proctoring is seldom sightseeing. Airport-hotel-hospital-airport (the middle 2 get repeated). Sunday before 2 days proctoring in Borneo (6 CTOs, complex rota cases, multivessel PCI) - spent half day on a small unreal island. Recharge.

Back to pre-covid times: last Sunday in Kerala - faculty at CHIP Summit, then worked in Brisbane, Thu-Fri in Melboune 3 CTOs and 5 orbitals proctoring (first in Victoria). Now around Longreach for outreach cardiac clinic.
