Not all proxies etc. support it, so look for this message in your browser's dev tools console to see whether yours infrastructure does:

This is also the first Seq build that uses WebSockets to reduce latency when loading the Events screen ๐

The Seq 2025.1.13956-pre build now at https://t.co/4hXshqR49j, and on Docker Hub, is getting pretty close to an RC! If you have a non-mission-critical Seq install you can upgrade, now's a great time ๐

Seq turns 11! ๐ Last year we were too busy programming to celebrate, so we're eating double servings of cake this year ๐ A huge thank-you to our customers and friends for your continued support and trust, we couldn't have made it this far without you ๐

Inspired by @staff0rd ' work on LLM agents, I built an MCP server that lets LLMs interact with #SEQ. It's amazing to see LLMs analyse system behavior by speaking SEQ's language through MCP! Check out here: https://t.co/XeErGyamnp

Large Language Models (LLMs) have become increasingly powerful, but their true potential emerges when they can interact with external tools and systems. As Mark Russinovich aptly described, giving...

Seq continues to amaze me. My personal dev machine tracking a crazy amount of messages from 50+ microservice workers. Thats 21,000 per MINUTE! @datalust_seq rocks.

After much trial and error, I believe Serilog + Serilog Tracing [+ @datalust_seq] is the best logging/otel stack for most .NET shops. It's simple, effective, and what we use for PureBlazor and our clients.

Our customers use Seq to debug distributed systems. Seq 2025.1 is itself a distributed system. We debug Seq with Seq... debugging inception! Here's our view of a Seq cluster running a query across two nodes ("antechinus" and "bettong" ๐), captured using an #OTel trace ๐

We love command palettes in the dev tools we use! In the upcoming Seq 2025.1 release we're adding a universal command palette with quick links to screens, context-specific actions, and (new) keyboard shortcuts. ๐

Heatmaps are coming to Seq in 2025.1 ๐ This new chart type is great for visualizing latency distributions, and is flexible enough to work with many other three-dimensional data sets. We're aiming to publish a preview late-2024; it's shaping up to be a huge release ๐
