Suddenly @Hetzner_Online is blowing up, but in my experience Hetzner Servers are heavily targeted and easily susciptable to hacks (open pg, redis, mongo ports). @ContaboCom is an alternative amazing cheap solution for hosting!

purchased 50GB iCloud and it didn’t let me upload 55GB photos and vids (i just want to offload videos). So i purchased a 500GB SSD for 1800rs ($20), self hosted an old i3 5th gen laptop as server, used immich (opensource) and now life is good!
