And another one bites the dust! Damn. The #Riders D has taken a huge hit today losing 3 important starters in Reavis, Allen, & Carney. I knew O’Day would have trouble re-signing everyone but I thought they would keep at least one of these big 3 on D. Yikes! Not a good day.

Damn, this one hurts. Allen was an up and coming defensive star who got better & better each year. He is also a ratio breaker. Tough to lose a great Canadian player like this. #Riders

I was impressed with the strength of Hughes leg in his FG attempts & kickoffs. I suspect the #Riders will release Lauther & save $25,000.He has been a long time Rider & has kicked well, but last year saw a huge drop in performance. At 35 with leg strength declining, time to go.

O’Day’s comments are quite telling. It sounds like the chances of Ouellette returning is likely, but Reavis, AJ Allen, Alford and Carney all sound doubtful. All were very important contributors to the Grey Cup championship. Definitely are rooting for CJ & AJx2 to come back.
