Booking club gigs is so depressing. I’ll walk into a room, step up to the booth, feel the gaze of everyone’s phones & cams on me while the kid promoter breathes down my back requesting more hip-hop, be confused, then disappear. I’m not sure what keeps me going but I do it anyway.
