For those who’ve built a Shopify app, how did you go about finding your first customers?

Running a test of my app in prepping for submission. Loaded 1600 products (split 400 per 4 stores) through the app without errors. Cleaning up the UX along the way to make it more intuitive to use. Excited to see the scenarios passing.

For anyone who’s tried adding discount codes over Ajax Cart API, what happens if you add a code that isn’t available to said customer? Planning to try myself soon but just curious if anyone else has yet. Thinking about using this API update for some workarounds.

Is it just me or has the GraphQL Admin API dev docs been broken for weeks? The CSS seems to load and then get removed due to some React error I see in the logs.

Anyone have good guides for working with @heymantleapp for usage-based billing (besides the docs)? Thinking of doing usage to a limit with an overage fee per a package of units. Open to feedback from those with experience.

What advice would you give to someone who’s prepping to launch a Shopify app for the first time?

For anyone who’s used Shopify’s managed pricing. Do you know if you can opt-out down the road to use the billing api if you wanted something more custom? Or is it a one-time decision only?

Last week my partner asked me to help her create an app to manage her project files. What I’m creating for her business I decided to also make it free to use for anyone with macOS. I’ll be sharing more information in the coming week. #macos #macosapp
