"They make the food look really aesthetic and pretty, and make me kind of wanna eat it more." Adolescents enjoy engaging social media junk food promotions, but what food content are they exposed to and how aware are they of it? Read our recent publication: https://t.co/QfFkBF2ftd

My research presented at #Eurosense2020 by @EllenvanKleef at her keynote! Adolescents are heavily targeted by social media food marketing, but there's so much more evidence needed to learn about social media marketing tactics and their actual impact!

Social media has changed the way teenagers r influenced to purchase #unhealthyfood. Most kids donยดt notice they are watching an ad on SoMe. -> regulations needed & nudging 4 healthier food. Nudging works, but difficult! Thanks to Ellen van Kleef for her keynote at #eurosense2020.
