I’m seeing a new helpful pattern emerging with MCPs in IDEs. There's an init() tool that adds or appends instructions to files like or @cursor_ai rules. These instructions customize the AI client's behavior by explicitly defining.

Some of those failures were very weird indeed. At one point, Claude hallucinated that it was a real, physical person, and claimed that it was coming in to work in the shop. We’re still not sure why this happened.
