We'll take a look at how to improve here. The difference is largely do to language, with "people" perhaps being more used on content we surface discussing colonization while "humans" about early migration. Agreed we should better understand how to align to the early migration.

Images in Knowledge Panels are automatically created and updated. During an update, an image can briefly disappear. This can happen to all type of people in Knowledge Panel, nor was there anything purposely done by Google Search in this case. We'll look into it more....
