I never see this as a race. I don't agree China is moving too fast. Peter Thiel has always been right about the tech stagnation in the US. Why American are so risk-averse now?.

The U.S. is way behind China in humanoid. No one likes to admit it but that is the truth. They think the U.S. is still good in physical A.I. while tens of robot training center opening up in China. Hardware has reached to a point as cheap as mass production in Shenzhen.

The U.S. is moving way too slow in tech than China, robots, drone delivery, data center, data factory, autonomous public transit. China is building 10 things a day and they keep it low profile while the U.S. is building one thing a day and it is making headline already.

i'm confused by this. how advanced AI, whether it's AGI or ASI, could create new jobs?. we already know it will automate many existing ones. but if AI becomes capable of doing everything humans can do, what would be left for people to do?.

China is building training centers for humanoid companies in most major cities like Suzhou, Shanghai etc. Here in Silicon Valley which we call the innovation hub of the world, people are building the next ai-notetaking app. Something must be wrong.
