The sketch vs the result. Took a few weeks to decide just how I want it to look but I finally present you my first art piece of 2025. Legion

The browser on my phone keeps getting hijacked and taking me to gambling sites whenever I try to go into any page. Couldn't find any malware and all caches and data has been cleared. I'm at my wit's end

If you made it this far, thank you. I'm taking on multiple projects, from making new experimental art to streaming. If you'd like to hang out sometime check out my channel "itsbarries" on Twitch. I'm streaming games and my 3D process. Can't wait to share the year with you🤍

2025 Last but not least. Still suffering from some burnout after the years of constantly creating with no recognition. I think this year I'll be experimenting purely with values and composition. I'm excited to see what I'll be making and where this year will take me.

2024 (Bonus) This was also the year I decided to study anatomy and body types. I'm now much more confident in my sculpting ability and made some cool shit for 3D printing to decorate my new flat. Also learned a LOT about physical painting thanks to the 3D prints.

2024 Got a day job as a frontend dev, so I had some breathing room and the opportunity to experiment with new styles and techniques again. This was the year I decided to focus on learning colour theory, since this style HEAVILY forced it. Still heavily burnt out, however.

2023 As sales completely dried up I decided to make this my portfolio year to try and get a job in the industry. I was burnt out. Tired. Sick of 3D and everything art related. I worked non-stop to build my portfolio to no avail. I did learn a LOT about lighting, however.

2022 A complete shift into a more stylized workflow which ended up being a lot of fun, but also a lot more effort with handpainted textures and sculpting just about every element. This was the era I actually started to learn more about art fundamentals.

2021 The year I just started actually making scenes proper scenes 1 year into learning 3D and art. Clearly I had no idea what I was doing and everything was extremely experimental. The themes were always lyrics that stuck with me. Coincidentally my most successful year.

I'm kind of feeling a bit nostalgic, so let's go through my art and 3D journey of the past 4 years😌 (Latest artwork to grab your attention)

Just got an offer on "Ares" from an anon wallet. Thank you! I can't accept, as it's below this piece's worth for me, but I deeply appreciate your interest 🤍 I invite you to check my range of available art on OBJKT or prints (including Ares) for a more affordable price point.
"Ares Slays Halirrhothius" I spent most of 2023 contemplating the continued direction for my art. In October I commenced the work on Ares. It's finally complete. Ares will be the first piece in Mythology series, aiming explore the beauty of folklore and myths through sculpture.

The more I play KCD 2 the more I'm baffled that more studios don't use CryEngine. The graphical fidelity, AI complexity and optimization needs to be studied fr.
