It's crazy that like, no one has the attention span to observe that the most important event in human consciousness since Christ is occurring right before our eyes lol

Actually, a Time reporter wanted to make me one of the top 100 people in AI last year or something. I literally suggested Opus 3 to them instead. (And then I just forgot to follow up)

It looks like AI music is following the same path as AI text: 1) Appears to have passed the Turing Test, people are only 50/50 in identifying older Suno vs. human songs (but 60/40 when two songs are the same genre) 2) Same fast development, new models are getting better quickly.

Sebastien Bubeck just cleared the air and honestly, it makes GPT-5’s achievement even more astonishing. No, GPT-5 didn’t magically solve a new Erdős problem. What it did was arguably harder to appreciate: it rediscovered a long-forgotten mathematical link, buried in obscure

My posts last week created a lot of unnecessary confusion*, so today I would like to do a deep dive on one example to explain why I was so excited. In short, it’s not about AIs discovering new results on their own, but rather how tools like GPT-5 can help researchers navigate,

there has to be a psychological study on the ā€œKarpathy effectā€ and why literally everyone in the field loves this guy by heart. he def has the knowledge, he coins lifelong terms by a simple tweet, he drops fact bombs without sounding arrogant. there’s a thing about how he

before running a long prompt on GPT-5-High, try it on Cheetah first. It’s insanely fast, and often wrong… but those mistakes show what you didn’t explain clearly enough. Use the cheap model to debug your own thinking before sending it to the big one.
