I love seeing everyone’s creations to create awareness around our threatened species! 😍 Our native rodents in particular have such stigma attached to them. Let’s give them some love! 🐭.

For #TSBakeOff I present the greater stick-nest rat 🐭 GSNRs are little ecosystem engineers as they collect sticks to build their huge nests. Once extinct on the mainland and just one natural population left, translocations throughout Aus are bringing them back! #rodentsrule ❤️

While the Mauritian tomb bat is crazy cute, the NZ lesser short-tailed bat won me over when I had the opportunity to see a male sing it's little heart out (aka. lek) to attract females. On top of this, they can forage on the ground! Such amazing little batties!.#BatWC2020.
