later, but here is what a social distancing Grey Street is going to look like. Parking spaces removed to create cycle lane, extra pavement space for walking and for cafes and other businesses. Traffic southbound only.
Here's the detail on Grey St/city centre changes (as much as we currently have anyway). Judging by my timeline today, this is probably the most popular thing

There shouldn't be any parking.
Loading with restricted times would likely be a decent compromise, although businesses should be looking towards "last mile" cargo bike courier companies.
Lorries and trucks for loading should be an exception.

Would love to see this implemented on Grainger street and pilgirm street. There are some real statement streets that could be so much more than thoroughfares for traffic.

The restaurants aren’t going to be pleased that people can no longer park anywhere near, and that’s a hot spot for taxi pick ups making it even harder for them too.

Cycling Northbound only based on the work of that 'artist' and businesses wanting a delivery will need to bring a Hi-Ab to move the planters aside. This will not work out well.

Love it, when they pedestrianise monument during the summer it’s so much better. Only people who seem to not want it to happen are the bus companies!
