This gentleman was truly remarkable and pioneering. Paramedicine owes his absolutely everything. ๐๐.

A beautifully fitting service Dom, for a truly remarkable man. Thank you for leading it so thoughtfully. ๐.
Honoured to lead todayโs Thanksgiving Service for Harry, a Knight of the Most Excellent Order of St John, the former unit president where I began volunteering in Hampshire. His selfless service, compassion, and leadership continue to inspire us every day. @stjohnambulance

Tonight, my Commissioner Youth of yesteryear, who now runs the local @stjohnambulance #Cadet unit, asked me back to talk about my journey from Hampshire Cadet to Director of UEC, and a career in #paramedicine. An absolutely lovely group of engaged Cadets full of questions!

Truly beautiful.
Nicholas Winton helped 669 Jewish children escape the Nazis. His efforts went unrecognized for 50 years. Then in 1988, while sitting as a member of a TV audience, he suddenly found himself surrounded by the kids heโd rescued, now adults. I like to remember this every Jan 27th.

What a truly brilliant gift to all your customers and colleagues. Brilliant to see @MandSnews @marksandspencer taking this step!.
Did you know 30,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests happen in the UK every year? By taking action, we can increase the chances of survival. That's why we've installed 23 further defibrillators in M&S stores across the UK. Every minute counts when someone experiences cardiac

This is precisely why EVERYONE should learn CPR, and why community defibrillators should be as commonplace as litter bins/public place fire extinguishers/post boxes etc. Well done Alice and team for saving Davidโs life.
Yesterday I was very lucky indeed. I completed the Bognor #Parkrun but went into cardiac arrest soon after, within metres of an off-duty paramedic & a defibrillator that had never been used before. The defib now has a 100% success rate & I will forever be in the debt of Alice โค๏ธ
