Are the anti-kids-vax protestors a widespread thing? I was going to take the boys tomorrow at the same time as I get my booster and I don’t want to end up stabbing someone if they scare my child.

I got away with a “don’t F with my kids” stare and a mental one of these and found it suppressed the homocidality to a manageable level:

I booked at my gp and then were none there yesterday. Also none across the road at place where I got my previous shots. Maybe do a reccy beforehand. I would be dangerous if I had met someone while I was waiting. This was Royal Oak btw.

Hasn't been here, small town on west coast northland region!
I did see some holding signs in town but not when the clinic is open.
Best they don't, for their own safety

Had my kids jabbed at Paeroa today. There were 2 protester groups. One bloke tried shouting at my kids (from a distance) so I went over and had a quiet word with him about freedom of choice, which was his main topic, and he shut up.

We’re on holiday at great barrier and had the best experience with slick and compassionate vaccinators. Despite one of my boys being a bit scared of needles, it all worked out well.

Why do they need to go with you? And there's a difference between scaring your child and explaining the dangers of the vaccine, how's it scary if they can just choose not to get it in the first place, most children shouldn't be having it anyway
