The idea is to use it like a tool much like you have in applications like photoshop, Krita or clips studio paint, where you click the tool and then on the 3d viewport to orbit, pan or zoom the view, which would make it more convenient for people using a table or laptop mouse

I have been thinking. #Blender needs an add-on (or integrated function) where you click on a tool (called orbit, pan or zoom) on the left and use that to pan, orbit or zoom the active view. The widgets on the top right are awkwardly and in conveniently placed #b3d
