We need to raise awareness and collect accurate data about what is happening to engage with politicians and others to tackle #BreastIroning/flattening. In addition we need to think about how we support women who experienced this. @leelenth @JoyC_FGM @LeylaHussein

#BreastIroning/Flattening is child abuse and causes physical harm. The panellists do not think a new law is needed but existing laws should be reviewed to ensure they can be applied properly to this form of violence.

There is a lack of knowledge and research on #BreastIroning and health/education professionals do not know how to identify girls at risk. @JoyC_FGM comments many are afraid to ask women about this.
