The people who find opportunities are the ones who knock on doors, reach out, and ask. And the biggest opportunities start with something small and brave, like simply deciding to show up and join a community 🌱

This community is to connect experts who make spaces better. They collaborate on projects, find work opportunities. Now, DH7 has grown to over 170 members across platforms where people introduce themselves and schedule coffee chats. It grows and connects organically.

But I kept developing the community 'online' feature while learning from the mistakes early on. Over time, people began to trust and join. Occasionally, they send small appreciation notes give DH7 strength to keep moving forward.

In the early days, there were many times when no one came to the events, and I'd end up sitting alone. And I’m an Asian and I don’t hold an architect’s license. There were many misunderstandings from that.

Some are here looking for new projects to collaborate on, while others want to share the tools and services they've built, like automating design workflows for fellow members.

But such thinking leads to a life far less happy than that of a squirrel. Because one must live in the constant anxiety of believing, “I am not enough.” The squirrel, however, simply moves with the flow of nature and in doing so, it contributes more value to the world.
