I know fans don’t always know best, but sacking Amorim also shows you sometimes even club executives and boardrooms don’t know what is best either. A complete and utter two year disaster by INEOS. Fans deserve better ❤️🇾🇪

My vision for Salford rugby league now? I want owner(s) that; - Lives within its means, whatever that looks like. If it’s a part time mid table Championship club, so be it. - Has proper internal board governance and structure - Treats fans with the respect they deserve.

Encouraged to see the narrative shift around Salford this week. The formation of The 1873, the planned protest, the online fan protests, the supporters trust letters, club captain leaving, the media and commentators calling people out. Feels like something will have to give.

So not only are the RFL happy for a bunch of strangers and kids to play having not had a single training session together, they’re also penalising them to play more minutes? Rules can be bent to accommodate their financial penalties, but not to suit player welfare. Disgusting.

It’s been coming for weeks now, but a considerable number of senior Salford players are refusing to play tonight vs Hull KR. I don’t blame any of them and fully support their stance.

Less than 12 months after Salford broke their stadium record for fans attending a rugby league game, in a thrilling play off eliminator after finishing the season in 4th, we seem to be getting cast aside due to no fault of the players, staff or fans. A lot of short memories.

My advice to the players: stand strong and don’t be lied to and played like you have all year. Fuck the club, its owners and directors. They have had long enough to resolve this and support you as a group. The consequences of these actions are not your fault, they’re others.

Fully support the players. I love the club and even I don’t want to go anymore. I have a genuine dislike for it. Marsters and Nikorima injuries are the perfect reason why players shouldn’t play again this season without any guarantees.
