Has it really only been one season? It seems like the @SFGiants have gone through two or three this year. @SFGiantsFans https://t.co/Ea2uokO0S8

What do you say after a stunning, walk-off, inside-the-park late night Giants winner? @extrabaggs has the answer. His gamer is witty, urgent and historical (first MLB catcher in 99 years.) Had to look up “Russell Crowe in sandals” but otherwise . . . https://t.co/xlWDV6BWtW

Bailey is the first major-league catcher in 99 years to end a game with an inside-the-park home run. He entered the game hitting .188.

Although stories say Kevin Durant @KDTrey5 doesn’t want a trade to Warriors b/c doesn’t want to deal with Draymond Green my guess is @Money23Green would go out of his way to be a good teammate. Dray has some making up to do. @warriorsworld

How we got here. The Warriors created this on their own. #selfinflicted. . . @warriorsworld https://t.co/pbv9Wyep76

Covered the 1989 AL championship. Always remember Game 4 in Toronto, when Rickey Henderson hit two HR — the first a line shot to dead center. But iconic Rickey showed up in Game 5. Led off with a walk, stole second and scored on a Jose Canseco single. Elapsed time. Four minutes.

Hey. Love the Joel parody. You may remember me as a Chronicle city hall columnist. Now I'm writing a substack in retirement. Would love to put the video in my new post but can't get a link that will work. Can you direct me to one. Full credit to you, of course.

Watching Kevin Durant, still playing great against the Warriors. Wondering why it couldn’t have worked out here? They would have paid him, he was popular and productive. Had a great house. #wharcouldhavebeen @KDTrey5 #Legacy

Will be interesting to see Jordan Poole in today’s Warriors-Wizards game. Poole, shipped out for one listless season of Chris Paul, is averaging 20+. Also running the offense. Last game: 22 points, eight rebounds, and two assists. Also two steals and two blocks. @warriorsworld
