This new day in age of recruiting you can’t take anything personal!! As a player and a coach. Players can come & go how they please but make sure you realize that can go both ways. Coaches will tell you I think it’s in your best interest to find a new home!.

Kids get stuck on 🏀 levels then don’t play and transfer. Consider if playing time is important or if you are willing to develop for a year. If not, go to a level where the coach is discussing the expectation of playing time, maybe not just given but truly a chance to earn it.

The Value of Prep School has diminished tremendously. Anyone & everyone can go “Prep” or do a Gap year. If you going to a prep school that doesn’t have a consistent facility, campus, or environment that provides a true opportunity to develop. You are wasting your time.

As of right now if you’ve played JUCO the eligibility still counts towards NCAA!!!!! Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise - I see countless kids with an AA degree & played JUCO saying they got 4 years left!!!.

Said this regarding the misinformation! Do your research. Don’t make a big decision based on fiction.
Some JUCO coaches already telling players that JUCO eligibility doesn’t count. While this is a possibility, it is not for certain so you probably shouldn’t be using that as a tactic yet.

There’s levels to levels in life and 🏀🏀🏀. I seen guys who were god gifted to be at a certain level but don’t work hard and should be playing at a much higher level. Then you got guys who exceed expectations and grind and get to where they shouldn’t be!.

One thing I can guarantee as a 🏀 coach is I will give you the truth in all situations. I won’t sugarcoat it - I am going to tell you flat out, some guys feed off it other guys fold from it.

A lot of guys reposted that JUCO rule with no truth behind it. Not knowing anything regarding what the court decided and the ramifications of it. Let that be a lesson to those who get their info from social media with no research!.
