With 70-90h winds roaring down the mountain and fire bearing down on them, first responders bravely helped evacuate all 90+ elderly patients from the facility, barely an hour before the entire nursing home burned to the ground.

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank the nurses and workers at the Terraces at Park Marino, along with law enforcement, for helping us evacuate my grandma last night. She is in the center of the screen at the beginning of the video.

I wish @Michael_Easter Comfort Crisis was required reading for all 7-8th graders. I keep hearing from people who feel like they dissolve in a puddle of their own tears from the smallest of things. It’s possible to reset your stress threshold in healthy ways that grow you.
