The EV mandate imposes a costly burden on manufacturers and raises prices for Canadians. We need to do everything possible to protect our manufacturers and maintain good jobs here in Canada. An EV Mandate without adequate infrastructure threatens all of this.

We all want to be a part of the EV future, but we need the time and support to get it right. We need a transition plan that keeps Canada strong. Repeal the EV Mandate.

We get the government’s EV targets, and we all want a cleaner future. But the government is trying to force an EV Mandate that risks consumer choice and good Canadian jobs. Repeal the EV Mandate.

We’re proud to support our customers with EVs. However, the mandate timeline is unrealistic and endangers Canadian jobs. The government must provide dealers with the time, resources, and infrastructure needed to succeed without harming customers or Canadian employment.

It’s going to take more than a mandate to drive EV demand. We need infrastructure to get us there, but the government has done nothing to build charging stations. We need to put the power back in the consumers’ hands. Repeal the EV mandate.

Canadians are being asked to make big decisions about their next vehicle, and they need choice. Mandating EV sales without proper infrastructure will leave many Canadians at the curb. The road to the electric future should work for all Canadians. Repeal the EV Mandate.

Dealerships provide good jobs in communities across Canada. When the government mandates these industries, it spills over and affects Canadian workers and limits the entire business. Repeal the EV Mandate.

Ottawa needs to stay in their own lane and stop trying to control the market. We need a Canadian market that develops at the right pace so we can have a successful EV transition for Canada's future. Repeal the EV Mandate.

Ottawa’s EV targets are driving up costs and cutting choice. Families shouldn’t be forced to pay more while getting less.

The federal EV mandate leaves low-income, rural, and Northern Canadians behind. We need an EV policy that unites us.

Forcing electrification before building out the supports Canadians need risks limiting vehicle choice and increasing costs for consumers. We are listening to those on the front lines, and their message is clear: we need a realistic plan for the EV transition.

Across Canada, our dealers hear the same message: Canadians want to switch to electric but are concerned about a lack of charging infrastructure.

We believe in a cleaner future, but it needs to be affordable, fair, and realistic for every Canadian family.

When unrealistic EV sales targets restrict vehicle options and increase costs, Canadian families pay the price. It’s a new world — we need new policy. A smarter approach to electrification can protect both our economy and our climate goals.

Clean transportation is the goal, but it can't come at the expense of Canadians. Mandating unrealistic EV sales targets puts the economy at risk and hurts affordability. Canadians deserve a realistic plan that protects workers, consumers and our economy.

New research from the University of Guelph warns that the federal EV Mandate could “effectively destroy the Canadian auto industry.” Canada’s auto sector supports over 500,000 jobs and generates billions in exports. Rushed policies threaten that foundation.
