Chino Valley Fire responded to vegetation fire alongside CAL FIRE in the area of Peyton and Woodview. Forward progress stopped at .8 acres. Firefighters will remain on scene for several hours doing mop up operations. #CanyonFire @CALFIREBDU.

Chino Valley Fire is on scene of a one to two acre vegetation fire with a slow rate of spread in Chino Hills State Park. Multiple units are on scene, including four aircraft. Updates will be provided as they become available.

There are no active fires in the Chino Valley. Smoke visible in the south area of the District is coming from a prescribed burn just south of Corona that’s being conducted by the US Forest Service in the Cleveland National Forest.
