Technique:
Use the Remesh modifier (voxel) with BY-GEN's Hard Surface Faceting mode to generate manifold meshes for hard surface concepts (sculpting, retopo, etc.)
Use Displace and Decimate to change shape, and Solidify to create ridges.

I gave the water shader by

a try and created a simple 'view tunnel' rig with constrained lights. It's a quick way of making the scene feel underwater, especially if you lock the camera to 3D view. Caustics are animated. Demo file is on my Patreon.
