Just got the remastered audiophile version of the 1995 Self-titled Clutch album in today. Has a signed picture. This album is on my very short list of 90’s favorite albums. I own several other copies including an original 1995 Euro press.

My Analogue Production Atlantic 75th Close to the Edge showed up today. This press is cut by Kevin Gray👍

Just arrived today….the next @Rhino_Records high-fi boxset. This ZZ Top ‘79-‘90 cut by Kevin Gray. Goes nicely with the boxset they did last year of ‘71-‘76👍

Can honeslty say this is the first time I’ve heard this song on radio. Has always been my favorite Sam era song👍

#NowPlaying spinning the 2008 Warner Bros boxset of Death Magnetic. Aside from them remixing this album, this is the best way to hear it IMO. It’s 5 discs with one song per side so there’s some flipping but it even exceeds the OG 33 rpm(pic 2). Just more oomph and balls to it👍

Got a couple more VH boots in today. First one is a 6 cd set of all three Cow Palace shows from May of ‘84. The other one is the 1979 Fresno show👍

Tracked down the Warner Bros 2008 Death Magnetic box sets. Includes the CD (so you can hear how bricked it is😂) and the album cut by Kevin Gray on 5 discs at 45 rpm. So each song gets its own sound. Eager to hear this because I have the OG 33 rpm cut and it kills the CD.

#nowPlaying now spinning the remastered cut of Load. Sounding really nice thus far. Much like the Blackened reissue from a decade ago this version uses the load script “METALLICA” on the labels. The original ‘96 press (pic3) used the ninja star logo on the even sides👍

#nowPlaying the tiny music Mofi release has me in a STP mood….So I’m spinning No4 tonight. I’ve got a couple of copies but IMO the one to chase is the 2015 Music On Vinyl cut. I’ve got both the standard black MOV and the White vinyl variant👍

#nowPlaying spinning Load on its 29th birthday. While the first 4 will always be my goto Metallica, I really do enjoy the Load albums and I think they’ve aged really well. This is an OG Elektra pressing👍

#nowPlaying spinning the Mofi cut of STP’s third album Tiny Music….I got copy #180. It’s also so cool that we have really nice 12” 45rpm cuts of their first 3 albums. I really hope one of them end up doing No. 4 to complete the original Scott run of albums👍
